Formation e-learning - Prévention du risque ATEX en Anglais - Atex risk prevention e-learning training

Explosive atmospheres (ATEX) pose a major risk in many industrial environments, requiring constant vigilance and a thorough understanding of safety regulations. With our e-learning course “ATEX Risk Prevention”, ACN Group helps you to identify, understand and prevent these high-risk situations.

This course enables you to understand the conditions necessary for an explosion, particularly through the explosion hexagon. You will learn to identify ATEX zones and the meaning of “Ex” markings, so that you can adapt your work practices safely.

You will also discover how to distinguish between different types of fuels and their ignition sources, as well as how to interpret equipment markings, to verify their compliance with risk zones.

Finally, you will be able to apply safety instructions during operations, identify dangerous situations and respond to any anomalies or equipment failure.

Practical and safety-focused, this training course provides you with everything you need to work confidently in an ATEX environment and effectively prevent the risk of explosion.

Objectifs pédagogiques

  1. List the six conditions of the explosion hexagon without error.
  2. Identify the meaning of ‘Ex' signs and the different zones (0/20, 1/21, 2/22).
  3. Distinguish between types of combustible materials (gases, vapours, dusts) and their ignition sources.
  4. Interpret equipment markings to verify their suitability for a given zone.
  5. Follow the instructions in a work permit during a simulated emergency response.
  6. Identify a hazardous situation or equipment failure in the immediate environment.
